NVM Express Sweeps FMS 2024: NVM Express Spec Updates, Product Demos and More

NVM Express is excited to participate in Future of Memory and Storage (FMS) 2024 on August 6-8 in Santa Clara, CA. FMS is the premier memory and storage event that highlights significant trends and innovations in memory and storage technologies, architectures and applications. NVM Express® (NVMe®) technology goes hand in hand with FMS and we look forward to showcasing the latest NVMe feature updates and use cases during our sponsored speaker track.
Our speaker track will feature deep dives into numerous key NVMe features, including support for CXL®, Live Migration, High Availability and Asynchronous Event Notification. - Mike Allison (Samsung) will kick off the panel session with an overview of NVM Express Host Managed Live Migration. Following the Live Migration overview, Nicolae Mogoreanu (Google), Lee Prewitt (Microsoft), Chaitanya Kulkarni (NVIDIA) and Klaus Jensen (Samsung) will explore their company’s applications and use cases for NVMe Live Migration
- Manageability Adds High Availability and Event Notification
- Myron Loewen (Solidigm) will cover the new High Availability and Asynchronous Event Notification features added to the NVMe Management Interface (NVMe-MI™) specification, showing how baseboard management controllers (BMCs) can manage dual-port NVMe devices and subscribe to receive event notifications
