Blog

The Storage Developer Conference 2018 (SDC 18), hosted by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), will be held on September 24-27 in Santa Clara, CA and is a must-attend event for those in the storage industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to acquire training on hot industry topics like NVMe™ and NVMe over Fabrics, persistent memory, orchestration, object storage, performance, storage architecture and more.

With the NVMe protocol widely regarded as the defacto industry standard for PCIe® solid state drives, it is no surprise that NVMe will be a popular topic of discussion throughout the conference.

NVMe Technology at the Storage Developers Conference

Industry experts from various member companies like Intel, Eideticom, LightBits, Samsung and more will be conducting presentations that discuss NVMe implementation, cases, and advantages. Topics include scalable distributed block storage using NVMe over Fabrics, the benefits and performance of NVMe and NVMe-oF for storage workload acceleration and examples of real NVMe-oF implementation.
