Nick Adams
Nick currently is Sr. Director of the Memory, SOC Architecture & Pathfinding organization in Intel’s Design Engineering Group. In his latest time at Intel his focus has been on innovation and execution of Firmware including Architecture, Development and Validation associated with Intel SOCs and platforms.
Prior to that Nick spent two years at Microsoft as a Director of SW/FW Engineering leading multiple Intel silicon-based projects for the Surface organization including the Surface Pro.
Nick began his career in 2000 at Intel holding various System FW/BIOS Architecture, Management, and Development roles at Intel over the course of 16 years.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, both from Portland State University. He has been issued 20+ patents in the areas of Computer System Firmware and Security.
